A rewarding 9 week internship with CFC, who provide specialist innovative insurance products. I was a part of the Media team, which sits within the Technology, Media and Intellectual Property team. Throughout the internship I was exposed to the world of specialist insurance, learning about insurance's role with NFTs, AI and groundbreaking medical research. I conducted my personal research into AI in the media and entertainment space, and ultimately wrote an article titled ‘Disrupting Hollywood: AI and the writers’ strike’, which was published on the CFC website. I conducted interviews with 7 teams across CFC, including the Head of Innovation and Cyber Incident Response Team. I also gained exposure to the administrative tasks of an underwriting assistant through liaising directly with brokers and independently handling the renewal organisation spreadsheet.

I had the pleasure of working with a fantastic team at the Centre of Policy and Business Development in the Danish Technological Institute. The Centre delivers new research, advice and technology-based knowledge to political and strategic decision makers, both nationally and internationally. Alongside the 9 team members in the Centre, I helped to update the reference database in Danish and in English, independently handled accounts in the financial system, assisted in writing sections in reports to be published and performed numerous administrative tasks. It was an inspiring and exciting experience that allowed me to develop my Danish and English professional literacy.
