About Jina Kiem

I'm the Creative Director and Partner of a boutique web agency in New York City called e9digital. Every day, I go to work trying to make a difference for our entrepreneurial clients who need branding, web development design and digital marketing, as well as old-fashioned print marketing and promotions.I am both a Creative Director and Business Partner in our firm, so I strive to balance the two–often disparate–roles. Makes me really appreciate my clients who are, at the core, business owners like me who have a dream and a need to make their dreams viable and relevant realities. Keeps me working hard to make sure my creative actually contributes to their success.Previously, I spent 12 solid years as AD, ACD, and then VP/CD at Saatchi & Saatchi's "integrated marketing" + retail marketing divisions. Throughout my agency career, I dabbled in web design work and increasingly found the digital channel to be much more challenging and creatively rewarding.So now, I'm able to take all my corporate management experience, plus the conceptual and strategic skills honed by my work with MBA-schooled clients (like P&G, Novartis, J&J, General Mills) and apply them to the fluid, more progressive interactive marketing world.I grew up in Honolulu, Hawaii and graduated from Georgetown University with a double major in English Literature/Fine Arts.And I love living, working + playing tennis in awesome New York City.
