Yinghua (Alice) is the founder and CTO of RockyTech with over 20 years of experience in a broad area of synthetic and materials chemistry, especially in polymer and composite materials development. She has a demonstrated record of developing and managing productive research projects. Over the past 20 years, she gained extensive R&D experience in both academic and industrial settings. Her working experience in startup companies as well as in big university research labs gave her the opportunity to understand both basic and applied research and has provided her with unique perspectives on science and technology transfer. She has published over 100 peer-reviewed articles and holds 4 U.S./World patents. She was the PI of multiple DOE and NSF-funded SBIR/STTR projects. Alice obtained her B.S. in Chemistry from Peking University in 2000 and her Ph. D. in Chemistry from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) in 2006.
