In the past few years, I’ve worked on groundbreaking medical device projects that combine innovation with practical solutions:- We Successfully developed and FDA-certified Cubenavigator software for CT-guided interventions in just 14 months (2023 - 2024, Medical Templates AG).- Co-founded aiSon Technologies AG, where I led the development of aiSon 3D, a robotics- and AI-powered 3D ultrasound system, and commercialized aiSon Focus ultrasound pads (CE-certified, in house production setup) as a CTO.These achievements reflect my passion for advancing automation to improve quality of life, a vision shaped by my journey through academia, R&D, and entrepreneurship.My Journey:After earning a master’s in Electronics Science (2011), I moved from Kerala, India, to Poland to pursue a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics at Jagiellonian University, Krakow which I completed with distinction in 2016. My academic work honed my skills in:- Advanced nuclear model development, detector design, and spectroscopy- 3D reconstruction techniques and data visualizationFollowing my Ph.D., I transitioned to industry and explored new challenges:- Post-doc at CEA Paris (2017-2018): Collaborated on international projects, enhancing teamwork, design thinking, and resilience.- Samsung R&D Poland (2018-2020): Contributed to automating software lifecycle processes for 5G RAN.- aiSon Technologies AG (2020-2023): Managed product development, patent research, cloud integration (Azure), CAD design, and ISO 13485 manufacturing setup.- Medical Templates AG (2023–present): Delivered a high-stakes FDA-certified solution for CT-guided medical interventions.Achievements- Published 10+ articles in peer-reviewed journals- Awarded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship- Conducted nuclear experiments at GANIL (France) and Jyvaskyla (Finland)- Skydived from 4,000 m and explored over 10 countries- Proud father of two
