I'm the UI architect for the web framework. Our framework offers fully configurable across-browser UI which all applications in the product suite are built upon. Data binding and navigation can be verified at configuration time and auto upgraded cross major releases. It opens up the wonderful yet challenging web UI development world for content developers to build thousands of page UI with ease and confidence.We revamp the client side technology constantly, which evolves from proprietary JavaScript/HTML to ExtJs HTML5 framework and offers cutting-edge high interactive user experience, personalization, and SASS based themeability across all major browsers. The server side is based on Java and statically typed JVM language. And we ensure the success of existing customers along the journey.Our latest innovation is to explore meta-data driven web UI for seamless and optimized user experience across desktop and mobile devices, and allow reusing common development modules and effort across multiple channels.We believe in quality and testing. Our UI framework comes with testing APIs that allow writing a test once and running it on all browser platforms or using server side simulator. The auto-generated page objects provide an object-oriented programming model for test authors and can be statically verified against the actual UI.While I find technology and hands-on work exciting and rewarding, I also spend significant part of my time on leading the team, coaching and education, docs and presentations, managing projects, and being the product manager from time to time.We use agile practices from Scrum to Kanban.
