The master programme in Newcastle University has well equipped myself withprofessional knowledge and technical skills in urban design field. Moreover,the international programme has provided me the chance for exploringdifferent planning perspectives from countries over the world such as China,India and UK.Working as an urban designer in Tianjin Urban Planning and Design Institution(from 2008 to 2010) has provided me an excellent opportunity to exploremyself to the large-scale urban plan and urban design abilities. Moreover, Iwas a volunteer in 2011 Conference of Academic Committee of ForeignStudies in Urban Planning & The Journal of Urban Planning International. Itstrengthened my knowledge on the local context of planning field and thecommunication skills.
