    ● Developed a client viewer application called 360 Viewer, which live-streamed cameras, and performed the necessary image dewarping. I built that application tool from a legacy prototype-like demo app that contained fundamental faults its thread managements, buffer handlings, etc. In addition, I added the capability of viewing using software dewarping instead of just the one based on OpenGL.● Restructured OnCam Dewarping SDK. I fixed issues and reworked the entire source structure based on OO design concepts to make it more maintainable. I added the SDK support for Linux platform. Then I added new features to the SDK such as additional pixel formats and new decoding, etc.● Developed a camera configuration tool based on a legacy app. I reworked the entire application and added supporting features for new cameras. The tool improved substantially in its stability, responsiveness, ease of use, as well as some new feature enhancements. ● Developing a Java version of a camera configuration tool using JavaFx. The tool is based on the Onvif standard so that cameras from other manufactures can also be discovered and configured. The tool is currently under development, some basic functionalities have already been implemented.

    • Developed a media importing tool called DMF which provided the background services to import and transform external media into acceptable formats, in which Media Composer, a professional video editing application can consume. I developed the tool from its initial prototyping to a real world finished product which consists of the Java executable engines, TCP/IP REST communications, and as well as the interfacing to the video media importing and transcoding core utilities. • Developed a new light weight video editing product that stored and distributed media to the cloud. Started from scratch, I prototyped, developed and then finished the client module that packaged up those media, Meta data, as well as other information files, and uploaded them to the cloud services; and in the opposite direction, downloaded them and restored to their original formats. Designed and developed the software emulation for HSD instrument module.Developed the simulation software which simulated the DUT behavior and the signal post-processing to achieve offline virtual testing.
