Project focus: monitoring fouled ballast sites across the Midwest area in United States. As an undergraduate researcher, I studied transient displacement tracking of the rail-tie system. Project experience includes using MATLAB to parse through image sets to create text file sets. I also utilized Excel to translate text files into displacement data sets.
