About Jingyi Li

Hi! I'm a Junior at Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business, pursuing a B.S. in Global Business with a concentration in Marketing and minor in Fashion Studies. I was born in Guangdong, China, but grew up in New York City.My past internships have given me an opportunity to apply my academic knowledge in a workplace setting. Over the summer, I worked as a Tender Intern for Rhenus Logistics, where I gained hands-on experience in managing bid submissions, conducting market research, and collaborating with various teams to create competitive proposals. This role sharpened my ability to research consumer behavior and identify strategic opportunities—skills I’m eager to bring into the fashion and beauty industry. I also developed strong analytical and communication skills by collaborating with internal stakeholders and external clients.Throughout the school year, I work part-time as a hostess at Bar Italia, an upscale Upper East Side restaurant. In this role, I’ve developed strong interpersonal and communication skills by welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a seamless dining experience. Working in a high-end, fast-paced environment has taught me the importance of attention to detail, customer service, and adaptability.
