About Jing Yi Chern

Finance professional currently specialising in tax. I am very interested in and actively utilise data visualization, manipulation and preparation tools, all of which adds great value to the work of finance teams.As a DFS management trainee, I rotated through various controllership teams based in Singapore - this helped me to appreciate the interdependencies of different finance functions in accounting. I was also given the opportunity to explore the commercial finance functions in Hong Kong, which provided great business insight and perspective into stakeholder management.Currently in DFS' Global Tax team, I take on a global role handling worldwide tax controlling and management reporting, as well as corporate tax compliance for our Singapore incorporated entities.
