I’m now a master student of Information System at Baruch College and ready to be a software engineer with passion and carefulness. Attracted by all the wonder created by computers, I got my bachelor degree of Information Security (a branch of Computer Science and also known as Cyber Security) in China and a master degree of Computer Engineering at New York University. During my undergraduate, I found that in the field of computer, what interested me most are software engineering and the Internet. So when I got an opportunity to study at NYU, I chose Computer Engineering as my major. During the time studying here, I’ve learnt a lot about these two fields respectively and finally confirmed that software engineering is my favorite and I want to start my career as a software engineer. In order to better prepare myself as a software engineer, I am now studying at Baruch College as a master student major in Information System.As a passionate and careful person, I am always willing to learn when encountering new skills. Also, I will never forget to pay attention to any details. All of these, I think, will make me a great software engineer.Java and Python are the languages I use most often. What’s more, I also have knowledge of C/C++, HTML, CSS, JavaScript and have used them in some projects. When I studied at NYU, I did a project about an extended use of PFC (Priority-Based Flow Control) in NYU High-Speed Network Lab.
