Initiating, planning, manage and document a four year research project called KinAesthetic Learning Processes that concerned the use of bodily movements as interaction modality between people and (digital) technology, from a user oriented perspective.As part of this work I have also - planned and administrated a 13 week dance course for engineering students given at KTH (Physical expression).- planned and carried out a large qualitative empirical field study, including 30 in-depth interviews, observations and logbooks, as well as analysis and compilation of the collected data.- carried out concept development, interaction design, prototype development and implementation of a physical product, BodyBug (http://www.bodybug.se/).- conducted product demonstrations and usability studies.- documented the project and its results through articles and a doctoral thesis.- presented the project and its results at international conferences.

During the indicated period of time I have on a part-time basis, been teaching artistic dance to children, youths and adults in techniques such as Modern and Contemporary, Jazz and Ballet, at levels varying from beginners to semi-professional.In addition to Balletakademien, I have worked at Showdansskolan Sway in Täby, Ösmo dansskola, Fryshusets KunskapsCenter, Kulturama and Upplands Väsby Gymnastikklubb.

The work consisted of defining graphical and haptic (force feedback) design criteria for a virtual, three-dimensional collaborative environment providing haptic input/output, as well as implementing the environment using the Reachin API (C++, VRML, Python). I also carried out usability studies, a literature review on haptic interaction in virtual environments and produced a written report and held an oral presentation.The work was carried out as a Mster's thesis project in collaboration with KTH and Reachin Technologies.
