I am an endocrinologist researcher with interests and demonstrated expertise in molecular and cellular biology. Over the past 10+ years, I focused my research studies on the molecular basis of metabolic-related diseases and male infertilityI highly value opportunities that enable me to integrate my communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills for the successful management of challenging tasks. I have used an integrative, proactive, and analytical approach to efficaciously contribute to multiple collaborative research projects, which have resulted in 11+ peer-reviewed publications so far.Being a systematic researcher and interdisciplinary team player, I thrive on opportunities where I can contribute to planning, optimizing, and executing innovative approaches.I am a proven achiever, who takes action and responsibility while applying interpersonal and organizational strategies towards making a difference that will benefit the whole team.During my Ph.D. at the University of Warwick, I focused my studies on understanding the role of Vitamin B12 deficiency in adipose tissue metabolism and inflammation. During this time, I also gained experience in the facilitation of 50+ undergraduate medical students within novel case-based learning sessions and 40+ undergraduate life science students withing lab-based learning sessions. These focused on their professional development including integration and expansion of knowledge, as well as advancement in communication and team working skills. This group facilitation helped me strengthen my own communication and teaching skills, which I showcased in different oral communications at several overseas conferences.
