With more than 10 years of expertise in the travel, fashion, editorial, and advertising fields, a former IT specialist has transitioned to photography. I have worked on several editorial campaigns for renowned publications such as Mathrubhoomi and FWD Magazine, amongst other publications, and my current location is Kochi, in the Indian state of Kerala.Most of the people I photograph are women, and I want my photos to make people think and talk about a wide range of issues, such as women's liberation, the importance of loving one's body, and the value of beautiful art.A campaign I produced for Grihalakshmi Magazine, published by Mathrubhoomi Publications, received widespread attention and recognition when it was featured by UNICEF and other international mass media and brought attention to the social stigma associated with nursing in public. People had a lot to say about those photographs on social media, and the popular ruling from Kerala's high court in the breast-feeding debate provided me with good grounds and allowed all new artists an opportunity to use their freedom of expression.As a well-known expert in making content about tourism and travel, I got the chance to work with top travel influencers from all over the world on global projects for companies like Incredible India, Kerala Tourism, and others.The travel photo stories and video advertisements I made for Kerala Tourism under Stark Communications have gotten a lot of appreciation and won several international awards.In 2017, I also started the businesses JNBY MEDIA HOUSE, which is a media production house, and Urban Affairs, which makes editorial content.
