In FY23, 42 (6.18%) of appointments Governor Pritzker made to state boards and commissions were lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer people and 10 (1.48%) were transgender people, which are both record highs• Meet with liaisons from the governor’s team to advocate for appointments and to identify high priority vacancies• Developed a dashboard that tracks LGBTQ candidates’ status in the appointment process and synthesizes demographic data
