• Convene LGBTQ organizations and individuals from across Illinois to identify qualified LGBTQ individuals to recommend for state boards and commissions. In FY23, 42 (6.18%) of appointments Governor Pritzker made to state boards and commissions were lesbian, gay, bisexual, and queer people and 10 (1.48%) were transgender people, which are both record highs• Meet with liaisons from the governor’s team to advocate for appointments and to identify high priority vacancies• Developed a dashboard that tracks LGBTQ candidates’ status in the appointment process and synthesizes demographic data

The Victory Empowerment Fellowship is a six-month fellowship for LGBTQ+ leaders of color and/or transgender leaders who seek to expand their campaign skills and policy-making power and to join a strong cohort of movement leaders from across the country.The Victory Empowerment Fellowship consists of three key components provided by the LGBTQ+ Victory Institute – the Candidate & Campaign Training, International LGBTQ+ Leaders Conference – and a six-month mentorship program.

Supported the CCI team on the Canopy project by interviewing schools identified by the project as innovative to validate the tagging mechanism used in the project, find relationships between innovative aspects of the school, and learn about the vision of their schools. This work took place as the Project wrapped its first iteration and informed the next stage of work.

Co-developed in partnership with Google for Education a resource for district and school leaders seeking to deepen instruction and learning. The resource featured strategies and school profiles aligned to Google's four learning principles.

• Established a community of practice of ~40 education data analysts from top performing districts and charter school networks that encompasses 600+ schools serving 285,000+ students. The community is backed by the Chan-Zuckerberg Initiative, The Michael and Susan Dell Foundation, and the Charter School Growth Fund.• Co-organized semiannual summits to share best practices, address common pain points, and work on collaborative projects like Project Unicorn to improve data practices in schools and in the ed tech field.
