Biofilms are highly resistant to drugs and to our immune systems, causing serious health problems. Using interdisciplinary and quantitative approaches, my lab focuses on developing innovative technologies to culture and probe biofilms, studying their spatiotemporal dynamics, and developing more effective strategies to treat bacterial infections.
