Lead a diverse global team across five continents, multi generations, and gender identities as diversity officer.Impacted organization by building and creating work across the following:• Strategic Positioning: Carved out company’s first global Environmental, Social, and Governance strategy. Positioned organization as sustainable investment opportunity as a newly publicly traded company. Developed strategy, commitments, and integration across all functions of the business.• Product Development: Created team that developed and launched a Culture of Belonging Survey. Delivered to employee population of 150K and used internally to build leadership capability and DEI goals. Team created and launched Global DEI Scorecard, with cultural and regional relevance. • Program Development: Developed and launched culturally relevant global DEI programs, including diverse leaders development program, driving a diverse talent pipeline for senior managers and above. Created DEI learning path for multiple roles and levels. Kaiser Permanente serves 12 million members in eight states and the District of Columbia.I stood up the Equity, Inclusion and Diversity and Workforce Development organization in 2018 and am leading the diverse team charged with driving our regional strategy. Through our work, we're delivering on our commitment to provide an inclusive workplace and attracting and hiring diverse talent from many backgrounds.-Leading team that launched and is managing the nation's first multi-employer, multi-labor healthcare apprenticeship model. Medical Assistant program is allowing individuals to earn and learn at the same time. -Spearheading regional EID strategy and efforts, including economic opportunities, high impact hiring, community partnerships and healthcare career pipeline programs.-Developed and launched strategy for regions first volunteerism program. My team manages efforts aimed at creating equity through volunteering by empowering employees to give back and get closest to the issues of the members we serve.-Created and delivered a strategy to elevate the visibility and business engagement of Business/Employee Resource Groups, launching three new BRGs within six months of plan.-Co-led enterprise-wide development of a leadership program for diverse talent. With a specific focus on Leading as a Diverse Leader, the program is aimed at increasing the diversity of leadership pipelines. -Developed regional strategy and implementation plan for enterprise’s program on Leading Inclusively. Workshop experience creates space for teams to gain awareness around EID and offers actionable steps to build cultural humility and respect. I was region’s first certified facilitator to deliver workshop and recently trained future trainers, building capacity to enroll more participants throughout the state.

Focused on internal communications and employee engagement strategies for Abbott Nutrition, maker of leading pediatric and adult nutrition products including Similac, Zone Perfect, EAS Sports Nutrition and Ensure. Coordinated communications across multiple channels to more than 77,000 employees in nearly 130 countries. Provided executive communications support to all levels of management, including Abbott Nutrition executive vice president and Abbott Nutrition International senior vice president. Coordinated and produced global employee and leadership meetings and supervision of in-house creative team.

Provided specialist support to several departments across Abbott. Projects included communications, administrative and marketing support. Managed content and communications for employee portal and business subsite development. Organized employee meetings, including production of presentations and meeting materials. Supported executive-level management and corresponding teams, including meeting scheduling, expense reporting, travel arrangement and budget management.

Provided counsel to executive director and senior advisory board on member and community engagement. Increased members’ awareness of new programs and policies as producer, writer and editor of monthly newsletter. Planned strategy and content of newly-designed website. Wrote speeches, developed communications plans and produced presentations distributed to local media and government officials.
