In my role of Head of Engineering, I was responsible for overseeing all aspects of multiple engineering teams. This included line management, recruitment, promoting a product culture, embracing DevOps principles, fostering a sense of ownership among engineers, setting development goals, and ensuring talent retention. I provided guidance and support to the team, attracting top talent, cultivating innovation and collaboration, streamlining engineering processes, and supporting professional growth. By creating an inclusive and supportive work environment, we aimed to deliver exceptional results and maintain a highly motivated and engaged engineering team.

As an engineering lead I was one of the main drivers behind growing the Prague development team to 60 engineering. I was leading multiple teams, establishing various domain ownership (telco integration, analytics, payment) while staying hands on. The last and biggest effort was building payment system on top of an API on web and mobile apps using server driven architecture.

I had the privilege of leading a team responsible for building and improving the CraveTV platform for Bell Canada. I successfully oversaw the development of front end solutions for the CraveTV platform, catering to various devices such as Cordova (Android, iOS), Windows Phone and Xbox.

My responsibility was developing, editing, managing, and maintaining different web sites. Typically I was responsible for both client-side and server-side functionality.
