I was leading a team over the Czechia, communication with our customers and partners, holding events, managing online and offline promotion.

I promoted company Smaller Earth and their services, mainly Work and Travel programs, in Zlín region. I was responsible for offline and online promotion in Zlín and surroundings. Activities within online marketing included mainly facebook promotion, sharing interesting information and important events across relevant groups and audience. Offline marketing included sticking posters, hanging out leaflets and arranging meetings for applicants of our services. I also shot short videos in English with applicants to proof their English and experiences and I helped them to arrange trouble-free summer in the USA. I really enjoyed this job because it was mix of many positions and duties (online and offline promotion, selling and HR).

As only 1 Account Manager in team of 10 co-workers I was person who was connecting our team and clients. I communicated with current and new clients from Czech Republic and foreign countries as well every day. For our clients was very important to understand what we do and why. Usually in first few months of our cooperation I was explaining the process, results and our activities we do. When client understand well it was time to go ahead and sell another service to boost progress in our results. After few months I get more responsibilities and I started to sell our products to new clients. It was good challenge to test and improve my selling and negotiating skills. Because I had all of responsibilities connected with communication with our clients, I issued an invoices, checked all of payments and do all of activities connected with finances. I really appreciate that I could use and improve my communication and negotiation skills.

My main duty has been realization of Search Engine Optimization, it means on-page and off-page adjustments on client’s website. I have improved content and important parts of website for SEO and then continue with writing original and interesting articles on client’s website. I have also coordinated writing and placement of articles on different, relevant and fine websites or blogs within linkbuilding. I have managed PPC and remarketing campaigns in search engines as Google and Seznam and social network as Facebook as well. All these activities lead to bring relevant visitors to the website, raise awareness about product and finally sell it.

I was communicating with hotel guests at the reception. The most of time I was helping them and giving advises what to do during their stay in the city. I really loved and appreciated communication with guests (doesn't matter if it was in person, by phone or e-mail). I was negotiating hotel reservations and booking rooms in CRM system.

I have worked as support staff in summer camp in the USA. I have worked in an international team, mainly in the kitchen. I was helping with food preparation, serving and dishwashing. It was really fun and I improved my English during these 3 months a lot. After summer camp I have travelled more then 5 000 km by car on the West Coast and I have seen all places I wanted thanks to my road trip plan I planed before my flight to the USA. I've met a lot of amazing people and I've learnt a lot about their cultures and customs.

It was typical part time job during studies. I realised what I wanna do in my life thanks to this experience. And I learnt how to cooperate in team although it wasn't easy in some moments. And what is the most important for each position, I staid positive and optimistic in every situation during long hours and hard shifts what no everyone understand to.
