As a head of frontend engineering I was responsible to organize, plan and review work related to frontend architecture, including design system, dependency upgrades, monorepo migration and similar. I also communicated with other functions and squads about the pain-points and possible improvements. My focus was quality, attention to details, developer experience and productivity. I also reviewed code of a few squads, while mentoring others and organizing various events or encouraging people to contribute to the team's culture, documentation, conventions and similar.Before that I focused on development of new features as part of various squads, including pull request reviews of other team members. I introduced monorepo to our previous Ember.js-based codebase. I managed to modernize the code from EmberJS 2.18 to 3.5. I was involved in API discussions and features' related designs. I experimented with ReasonML with React where I configured its CI and build process. I have rewritten ReasonML project to TypeScript. I create API Blueprint-based TypeScript generator for API data structures. I was involved in architecture chapter, preparing research of various libraries and frontend-related technologies. I did new hires homework assignment evaluations and interviewed them. For a couple of months I led B2B squad and organized their work.

I was working on Samepage even in times it was known as Kerio Workspace. I was mainly focused on front-end development in Javascript. The biggest project I was part of was Collaborative Editor and its plugin system. I did lot of refactoring and rewrites of legacy parts and I improved several of our internal tools like development proxy or testing environment. I was also included in various discussions related to architecture or design of the product. I was attending our internal hackathons.

I was working on Kerio Connect Web Client as a front-end developer in Javascript and ExtJS framework. I was implementing user autocompletion and other small UI things including SASS and unit tests. Then I started to work on Kerio Workspace product which was a tool used for sharing documents, files and internal communication. I also consulted things with designers and was involved in various UX discussions. I was attending our internal hackathons and tech-summits. I co-organized Plzeňský Hackathon in 2013 which was focused on Node.js.

Testing tools for web-application development. Creation of a tool for database model definition in Groovy syntax (Groovy -> DSL -> AST transformation -> Java).
