I'm a transportation executive who is passionate with experience covering all aspects of operations. Having held leadership position within a Fortune 200 for the majority of my career, I've also led the operation of my own business and at a small company.I specialize in moving into a role where operations intensive organizations in need to be simplified and would benefit from a significant performance improvement. Not in the sense of burn down and rebuild, but in the sense of fortifying the operation and removing the obstacles challenging teams.I like growing industries in need of someone who has a talent for taking control and developing processes and building the teams that will be its future. My talent is in identifying and developing great leaders, building talented teams that are strong cross-functional groups resulting in sustainable, long-lasting business units. My experience started at the ground level as a union member laborer, and what I learned on my way up the ladder in management was how to leverage my time in the field to gander the trust and respect of those doing to work at all levels in the company. I put myself in position to remove the obstacles in the work of those in entry level positions and executives alike. I build successful cultures by creating a team of people who care and have reason to be passionate. •Cultures that have a foundation in continuous improvement. •Culture dedicated to safety being paramount to all else. •Culture where leadership is dedicated to serving the team and dedicated to their success. My most recent position was overseeing a large work force over a large geographical region, and the Directors of each of the departments within that business unit. Directing, advising, guiding, and developing managers in companywide efforts, including metric creation, tracking, and improvements. Building a safety culture, full utilization and rationalization of key assets and process improvement. I will use my experience putting technology and leadership to work to advance your company's success. We were able to make great improvements in revenue and reductions in needed resources when equipment and manpower were difficult to acquire. We maintained higher than normal growth, even though the pandemic without sacrificing costs. Creative and flexible solutions with well documented processes and people who care will get you through the tough times. More importantly, when maintained it can create a predictable and rewarding operations with capacity for growth.
