ResponsibilitiesTo provide Health, Safety and environmental advice, guidance and support to the 7 Depots in the implementation of the Firstgroup’s safety policies and procedures.To arrange and hold monthly company HSE meetings to update senior management on the safety Health and Environmental arrangements required by Firstgroup.To deliver and implement to the 7 depots any actions required by Firstgroup or the company senior management.To attend quarterly HSE meetings held at each of the 7 depots, to drive any of the health, safety and environmental initiatives initiated by either group or locally. Prepare monthly reports for group and company.Attend monthly teleconferences designed for all Firstgroup HSE managers.Attend group annual conference and local company bi-annual HSE conference.Collate all accident information and ensure each is investigated suitably and actions closed off.Maintained ISO14001 accreditation and associated documentation.Carry our regular safety tours at each of the 7 depots.

Manage Health and Safety for the council. Review and update Policies. Set up safety management systems to ensure legal compliance and follow best industry practice. Guide Managers. Organise and provide training. Interact with contractors.

Provide Quality assurance and testing service for laminate manufacturing. Manage and maintain SHE requirements for the company.
