PROJECT TITLE:Replacement of Facility Management System (FMS) and Extra Low Voltage (ELV) SystemOBJECTIVE:To install and replace the FMS and ELV systems at Marina Common Services Tunnel and to provide aunified platform, integrating those systems for the site operation.ROLE:I was the Project Manager and managed the full life cycle of the project from the initiating phaseuntil handing over to the client.RESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLES:Initiating – I studied and performed the stakeholders’ analysis to identity and take into considerationof their interests in the project. Planning – I conducted kick-off meetings with the client and Project team members. I prepared theproject schedule and outlined the Work Breakdown Structure for my team members while takinginto consideration of time and budget. I gathered the high-level requirements from the stakeholdersand determined the “must have” and “should have” of the unified platform.Executing – I led the team members and subcontractors through the execution of installation works,drawings and documents preparation. I liaised with the Purchasing team on the materialsprocurement and with the Finance team on the cashflows of the project. Monitoring and Controlling – I controlled the quality and scope of deliverables in accordance withthe client’s requirements. I monitored the project timeline and ensured that each milestone wasachieved as per project schedule. When the materials delivery was delayed due to ShanghaiLockdown, I crashed the program to meet the deadline. Closing – I completed the replacement works and provided the unified platform. I conducted thetraining and got the client to sign off the deliverables. I documented Project Closure and preparedthe final documents for client.OUTCOME:The project was completed within the stipulated timeline whereby the deliverables were handedover to the client and the Certificate of Substantial Completion was obtained from the client.

PROJECT TITLE:Building Mock-up of Serviced Apartments and Retails Units.OBJECTIVE:To deliver mock-up of serviced apartments and retail units complete with the required services forclient.ROLE:I acted as the Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Coordinator to plan and manage the on-site works.RESPONSIBILITIES/DELIVERABLES:Initiating – I carried out key stakeholders’ analysis to understand and determine the communicationmethod with them. I identified the constraints of the project as it was a construction project at a citycenter.Planning – I developed project schedule, budget and manpower for subcontractors. I conducted kickoff meetings with client and Project team members.Executing – I managed and worked with subcontractors on site works. Additionally, I coordinated theworks my Project team members (consisting of Architecture, Structure and M&E departments) tocomplete the tasks and resolve site issues. I worked with the Quantity Surveyor / Contract team toresolve budget and subcontractors’ work scopes issues and with the Quality Assurance / QualityControl team on the documentation works.Monitoring and Controlling – I ensured that the completed works conform to the quality standardsvia quality assurance inspections. I would measure and track the site progress in accordance with theproject schedule. Then, I updated the client on the status of the project.Closing – I completed the construction of mock-up unit and subsequently all the units at the site. Igauged client’s satisfaction and received the signed off from the client on the completed units.OUTCOME:The units were completed in accordance with the client’s requirements and successfully handedover to the client.
