Duties and responsibilities include following. Support development of advanced dual fuel system for heavy duty diesel engines. Assemble, test, modify and repair PCBs for prototype and product. Create schematics, PCB layouts, wiring diagrams and drawings. Design, develop, assemble and test cables and wiring harnesses. Set up and operate test instruments and develop test plans and procedures. Carry out tests, perform failure analysis, record test results and maintain all records. Review circuit schematics and PCB Layouts created by engineers. Train other employees and coworkers. Identify parts, suppliers and delivery times based on design specification. Design and develop assembly and test jigs or fixtures. Perform commissioning and DE-commissioning of dual-fuel system and its components

 Generating Electronic Circuit Schematics, Wiring Diagrams, Printed Circuit Board Layouts and othergraphical representations using Computer Aided-Design (CAD) programs. Procuring parts, getting quotes from various sources and ordering them as they require for prototyping and production. Assemble, test and troubleshoot circuit boards and other prototype or production hardware. Perform troubleshooting, sensitive component level repair, micro-soldering and maintenance ofelectronics circuits or hardware and carry out various tests to ensure their intended performance at alltime. Suggesting and implementing innovative solutions to improve products and processes. Design, develop, set up and operate specialized test jigs and test procedures to diagnose, test andanalyze the performance of electronics systems. Generate assembly and test Manuals based on established assembly and test procedures for products. Read and understand blueprints, circuit schematics, wiring diagrams, operational manuals, datasheetsand technical instructions as it relates to design, development, modification, assembly, programmingand testing of electronics circuits and hardware. Assist scientists and engineers in conducting applied research and experiments for productdevelopment. Prepare and maintain design, testing and QC documentation and records. Set up and operate automated, semi-automated and manual machines to fabricate Printed CircuitBoards and to position, solder or de-solder prescribed components on them. Assemble Printed Circuit Boards, Flow Computer Cabinets, Manual Train Control Units and ThrustControl Levers and wire them according to assembly instructions and specifications. Inspect all assemblies and circuit boards and assure their compliance to customer specific standards orto minimum IPC-A-610-REV D Standards. Repair, calibrate and maintain tools and equipment to ensure their intended performance withinspecification and technical standards.
