Perform QA support and market release of products marketed in SA. Perform Batch manufacturing document (BMR) and Batch packaging document (BPR) review as well as certificate of analysis (COA), certificate of conformance (COC) and lab results.• Assist the Quality unit in roll-out of LifeDoc, a compliance management system database tool• Establishment and maintenance of the local Quality Management System (in line with local regulations and global QMS)• Review Global SOPs for Local Implementation as is, or modify to fulfill the local requirements and global requirements

Perform all QA activities as well as management of the distribution facility located at Benrose with direct reporting to head office. Ensure effective stock rotation. Customer service orientated. Dispensing of scheduled drugs as well as performing internal audits. Deviation reporting. Complaints handling as well as customer returns of stock. Liase with head office on all stock for destruction and arrange destruction thereof. Perform all activities related to good distribution practice.

• Manage the receiving process and sampling process of scheduled products• Release of medicine from quarantine upon written authorization/notification from clients• Ensure that the distribution warehouse complies to all MCC guidelines relevant to Warehousing and Distribution• Achievement of Key Performance indicators as set by Client and to abide by contractual T&C• Perform after hours on call emergency duties for customers requiring urgent life -saving medicines • Conduct and document mock recalls and reconciliation thereof• Handling of batch recalls/withdrawals according to correct procedure and as per MCC guidelines• Ensure that goods returned are handled in the correct way including cold chain products• Handling of expired medicine for destruction as well as obtaining client authorization• Ensure disposal or destruction of medicines are performed under proper control as per MCC guideline and according to SOPs • Ensure that GWP is followed• Ensure that proper security systems are in place including access controls to specific areas• Ensure that Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s) are in place and adhered to• Ensure that all SOPs are regularly revised and updated within the review period• Dealing with technical complaints as well as adverse drug events• Perform regular internal audits and report findings• Deviation reporting as well as corrective actions• Ensure calibration of equipment as per schedule• Ensure correct and effective record keeping of documents in warehouse• Perform stock investigations as required• Ensure warehouse readiness for all audits (MCC, SAPC as well as clients)• Ensure safe and effective storage and keeping of scheduled products under direct Pharmacist supervision• Handling scheduled substances and adhering to legal requirement s regarding documentation and control of scheduled medicine• Ensure warehouse uphold good quality standards
