As an opensource domain expert, I am responsible for the maintenance, improvement and quality assurance of various opensource libraries used in the company’s middleware stack. I also have a working knowledge of various open source licenses, copyright and intellectual property issues,and closely follow the ideals of various opensource institutions such as the OpenSource Initiative and the Free Software Foundation. In this regard, I have hands on experience with automating the building of libraries for the ARM and MIPS development environment, code and binary defect analyses, reporting and fixing bugs, versioning control, integration testing and release management tasks before migrating them to end release products.
