Prior to joining Evolve, I was responsible for managing Wentworth Community Housing and Community Housing (FACS) asset portfolio and asset system, including portfolio supply and quality assurance and major asset improvement initiatives. Responsible for providing strategic and operational leadership, direction and oversight to ensure the development and implementation of quality asset strategies and services occurs in alignment with Wentworth’s plans and policies.

Responsible for managing the community housing asset portfolio and asset system, including portfolio supply and realignment, asset management planning, standards formulation, asset strategies, contracts, QA and major asset improvement initiatives. I also had the overall responsibility for the capacity building in relation to asset knowledge and management in the community housing sector.

Responsible for delivery of annual asset programs of social housing capital works and other professional services for Aboriginal Housing Office (AHO) and other Human Services agencies, within accepted parameters of time, cost and quality. Also responsible for relationship management with AHO and other Human Services agencies and stakeholders in the provision of social housing projects and programs.

Responsible for providing specialist and technical advice on Capital Works Program. Co-coordinating and managing new supply, long term Head Leasing program and maintenance programs. Assisting Client Service Teams in effective utilisation and management of their assets i.e. providing specialist technical advice on acquisition, disposal and upgrading of Office of Community Housing accommodation, identify cost effective asset creation, disposal and upgrading strategies and assist Asset Managers in planning and delivery of Capital Works Program.

Responsible for providing specialist technical advice and coordinating Area input into the Regional Asset Management plan, assisting Client Service Teams in effective utilisation and management of their portfolios of assets i.e. providing specialist technical advice on acquisition, disposal and upgrading of Departmental accommodation, identify cost effective asset creation, disposal and upgrading strategies and assist Area Managers and Client Service teams in Area Planning and the development of local area plans.

Responsible for assisting the Client Service Team to strategically manage its portfolio of assets, including the supervision of programmed upgrading and maintenance work and providing technical support and the management of routine dwelling repairs.
