1. Synthesis of a large variety of small molecules in high purity for customer support.2. Application of synthetic organic chemistry skills to improve in-house protocols.3. Synthesis of complex multistep molecules, purification, and characterization using modern analytical techniques like NMR, UV-Vis, HPLC, etc. 4. Keeping up-to-date lab records, and compliance with the safe handling of chemicals and violent reactions.

In my current position, the following is my job profile:• Developed well-defined polymers using ROP, RAFT, and ATRP techniques.• Developed and functionalized the polypeptide polymer brushes for antibacterial potential. • Developed well-defined styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer (SMA) and their functionalization for assembly of lipid and polymer nanodiscs.• Established anticancer screening protocols for the polymer-drug conjugated in the laboratory.• Working as the lab in charge to handle safety inspections and laboratory inventory.

My focus was to develop new ROP based polycarbonate and polypeptide polymers for drug delivery to treat cancer. To realize smart polymer synthesis, my organic synthesis skills were of synergistic to achieve the goals of the projects in timely manner. During this time, I had opportunity to develop skills for the cancer molecular biology as well as preclinical studies for the various formulations and New cytotoxic drug candidates. These skill set were reflected in two recently published articles in Journal of controlled Release.

My interest is in Organic/medicinal chemistry filed for the development of novel cytotoxic compounds for cancer treatment.
