My approach towards building products:First Principles Thinking + Data + Feedback.UX: Mobile & AI-first.First independent product: Alumni Connect, back in college. Did a bit of everything here - research, planning, talking to users, design, presenting to stakeholders, development, testing, etc. Enjoyed it. Discovered that there’s a field called Product Management where you get to do this on a regular basis.Started building products as an engineer. Learnt a lot about what goes under the hood in that profile.Frontend, backend, APIs, databases, cloud, and everything in between.Then worked on Cart, Checkout & Account related products (B2C) at ShopClues, a Gurgaon-based e-commerce firm. Also, enabled an offline retailer (V-Mart) to go from offline to omnichannel by building its core e-commerce tech from scratch (B2B).Currently, building products at Leverage Edu, a Delhi-based ed-tech startup that helps students in their end-to-end study abroad journey - admissions, finances, visas, accommodation, etc. Products for students (B2C), universities (B2B SAAS), and internal teams (CRMs). Web, App & AI-powered products built from the ground up. And scaled up from there.
