Profile bio

About Jitendra A.

Education:I have a background in architecture and design, but my journey led me to become a narrative explorer with a deep interest in film and animation. I studied at Lucknow University, received training at the National Institute of Design in Ahmedabad, and further honed myself at New York University with the invaluable help of Fulbright Fellowship.Past Work:My passion for narrative design and museum experiences led me to the renowned Solomon R Guggenheim Museum in New York. Among my notable achievements was the layout design of the CY Twombly retrospective at Guggenheim Bilbao. The project required me to work closely with the curatorial and design teams to establish how the artist's work would resonate with the spatial configuration of the museum building. Upon my return, I seized the opportunity to collaborate closely with a team of exceptional French educators at DSK-Rubika Supinfocom in Pune. Together, we conceptualized and delivered a cutting-edge International Integrated-Masters Degree program in 3D Animation (Instagram: @d.skool.colectiv), setting new standards for excellence in skill-education.Driven by a desire to create meaningful international partnerships, I took on the exciting challenge of shaping a groundbreaking curricular alliance with the prestigious Vancouver Film School in Canada through the dynamic DICE VFS School of Entertainment Arts in Mumbai. Our efforts paved the way for life-transforming opportunities for aspiring talents in the field.Throughout my career, I have been privileged to work with esteemed academic and cultural institutions, both locally and globally. Collaborating with regional, national, and international teams, I have made significant contributions and played an instrumental role in advancing educational standards. I am proud to have raised the bar for student achievements, introduced innovative extracurricular initiatives, and spearheaded impactful outreach activities.Current focus:At present, I find myself in an exciting phase of transition. After dedicating over 25 successful years as a design educator, I have embarked on an entrepreneurial journey. Retrofusion.in.Intermittently, I also immerse myself in stimulating assignments involving home remodeling, renovation, narrative design, and education.
