Prepares or assists in preparing conceptual studies, designs, reports or proposals.Evaluate, select, and apply standard electrical engineering methods, techniques, procedures and criteria to prepare/review conceptual Studies, Systems studies, Design criteria, Equipment Sizing calculations, and layout engineering.Design, develop, modify, and evaluate components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides. Coordinates electrical engineering efforts in assigned areas with speciality groups, engineering disciplines, the client, vendor, contractors, construction and other functional groups.Provides technical assistance and interacts with project functions, the customer, and regulatory agency personnel to resolve complex regulatory issues.Assists in project and construction management in identifying and complying with project electrical requirements and in addressing issues as they arise during project execution.The Automation Engineer is assigned to a project as a key member of the automation design team, he/she is responsible for the proper selection as defined in technical and specialty skills. He/she preferably having following skills.Ensure the timely completion of all project specifications, System Architecture DCS, PLC /SCADA , Datasheets, schedules , designs, and drawings for the project assigned.Review vendor's bids and drawings/documentation for technical acceptability.Provide technical assistance to other design groups as necessary.

1) Preparation of RFQ for the Control systems and Instrumentation required for the CCPP, Solar-PV, Solar-CSP and WTP plants.2) Preparation of BOQ for cables and Instruments assembly.3) Coordinating with other departments.4) Lead C&I in post-bid and pre-bid- meetings with client. 5) Optimizations of cost and performance as per the stated specifications.6) Review of P&ID, plot-plan, equipment location plan and cable tray routine.

Working for Energy & water.

1) Interfacing with other engineering disciplines like Process, Electrical, Mechanical, Piping, Civil etc & engineering drawing review.2) To support proposal Dept. for E&I part costing and cost effectiveness of equipment.3) Carry on Inspection and FAT-SAT of all the E&I systems and components. 4) Support to site team for the commissioning of Electrical and Control systems (Transformer, MCC, Cables, motors, Field Instruments, DCS,PLC and etc). 5) Installation and commissioning of different Process Control- Automation systems and field instruments and control valves with different types of actuators.

1) Erection and commissioning of Electrical and Control systems (Transformer, MCC, Cables, motors, Field Instruments, DCS,PLC and etc). 2) To support proposal Dept. for E&I part costing and cost effectiveness of equipment.3) Carry on Inspection and FAT-SAT of all the E&I systems and components. 4) Support to design team for all the related jobs of E&I Designing.
