Current-Planning import material for raw materials & traded goods -Logistics arrangement of regular dispatch -Procurement planning & budget preparation for raw materials & Packaging materials -Reporting of inventory stock levels to keep inventory levels optimum -Handling customs related and bank related formalities -Reduction in procurement cost by new methods & strategies. -Localization of steel for development within India & other products for timely availability -Issuing Letter of credit (LC )for overseas suppliers -Finalization of warehouse agreements within India & prepare logistics network - communicate with group companies & third parties for timely import & Export -Monitoring of trading goods & ensure timely availability -Monitoring of EPCG licenses for export obligation fulfillment -Arranging country of origin certificates from exports inspection agency -Monitor all DGFT related schemes for bringing down import taxes such as advance license DEPB scheme as per Foreign Trade Policy -Ensure timely exports as per schedules Duration -LME monitoring for daily steel prices increase, monitor progress of price increase & decrease -Strategy mapping for India & overseas supplier’s procurement plan - Scrap management - Alternative material availability for current materials & development of new suppliers - Resolving import & exports customs related issues with active involvement -Identification of new projects with Value Engineering
