National Credit Manager
Current•Promoted to manage the credit control function with 4 direct reports, accountable for the appropriate delegation of work and the delivery of a timely and effective service•Adeptly monitor, assess and approve credit accounts, safeguarding the organisation from exposure to risk•Responsible for accurate and insightful monthly reporting on outstanding payments and analysis of the like•Demonstrate a continuous improvement philosophy around account management initiatives, proactively planning, as well as identifying, addressing and implementing process efficiencies•Establish and maintain strong relationships with creditors including retailers such as Foodstuffs and Progressive Enterprises, ensuring prompt payment of accounts •Provide advice and support to business partners within GWF and consistently meet goals set by the Business Services Function and the company as a whole•Ensured on-going adherence to systems and processes across credit control, consistently working hard and achieving targets •Liaised with all key client stakeholders, providing open and timely information and responding to queries correctly and swiftly•Assessed account risk and put safeguards in place in respect of high-risk customers in accordance with organisational policy.
