Have an experience of 30 yrs in Mining and Steel Industry and currently working as Managing Partner (Trade) – BALTA SA, Poland. Prior to joining BALTA, he was working as Chief Commercial Officer – Essar Mining and Metal Business Group looking after the complete commercial & procurement division. He has a vast experience in Mining /Steel and Power and Aluminium Industries. Have been a core team member for Essar Steel India Ltd and heading the procurement division for sourcing of Bulk Raw Materials for Pellet / Steel Complex. MSc.Tech in Applied Geology from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad, Bihar and Ex-MBA from ITM Khargar, affiliated with Hamsphire University, US. and Doctorate in Management Studies from Indian Institute of Business Management & Studies, Mumbai. He is currently pursuing his International Executive MBA from SDA, Bocconi, Italy. An active member of World Steel Project Associate for IISI India 2020 Project by Ministry of Steel ( Govt of India) and currently an Associate member for World Steel Association – Raw Material Group. Recipient of National Award –Khare Award from Indian Institute of Mineral Beneficiation for best outstanding performance in the Mineral Eng & Safety Award for Chromite Mines. Have vast experience in the Mining & Steel industries and have been actively participating in various value engineering project and financial engineering in the current world market scenario. With his experience, he has turn around many projects into profitable center with his financial engineering in the real-world of working and management. Also a visiting faculty to management / Engineering Colleges in Mumbai sharing his industrial experience in the field of Supply Chain and FMCG marketing / segmentation /Positioning at extra times.
