About Jitendra Kumar Singh

I am a Power Electronics Researcher specialized in converter control design related to power quality improvement, reliability, and grid integration of renewable energy systems. Experienced in modelling based on MATLAB/Simulink, PSIM, PLECS, PSCAD OPAL-RT and RTDS.At DTU Wind and Energy Systems as a Postdoctoral Researcher, my focus is on pioneering controller development for OWPP-HVDC systems, encompassing Grid-forming, Grid-following, and Hybrid control for power electronics converters. With a specialization in integrating IBRs into the grid and advancing converter control techniques, my work contributes to enhancing power system resilience and efficiency. Development of Real-Time simulation (OPAL-RT), and dynamic analysis (LVRT).Previously, as a Research Assistant at Khalifa University, I honed skills in microgrid technology and power quality improvement. My mission is to drive performance enhancements in renewable integrated Inverter-Based Resources (IBRs), leveraging my expertise in OPAL-RT and other software MBD tools for real-time simulation and validation of complex electrical networks.My area of expertise is power electronics converter control for grid-integrated renewable energy sources to improve power quality and reliability.
