Continuous monitoring of the VRDLs, technical hand holding, financial support etc.• Conducting trainings on BSL-3, NGS, lab diagnosis, GCLP and LQMS workshops for the laboratory participants• Established more than 15 BSL-3 labs, and two mobile BSL-3 for handlining high risk pathogens.• Responsible for establishment of COVID-19 testing labs, technical evaluation of the labs and their approval. • Responsible for establishment, validation, certification, monitoring, technical evaluation of BSL-3 labs, and mobile BSL-3.• Incharge for ICMR COVID-19 kit validation portal and closely involved in performance evaluation.• Conceptualized the PM-ABHIM scheme at DHR-ICMR level costing approx. Rs.1200 crores for setting up 4 Regional NIV, Regional Research platform for SEAR, Institute of One Health, 4 Mobile BSL-3 labs, 5 BSL-3 labs, Research activities etc. • Drafting of policy documents on development of public health infrastructure• Close coordination with different public health agencies like Department of Health and Family Welfare, NCDC, IDSP, NVBDCP, CDSCO, WHO, CDC, UNICEF etc.

Summary about Work:•Responsible for promotion, support and facilitation of the biotechnology development in the Madhya Pradesh.•Facilitating the development of Industry, Infrastructure, Research and Human Resource Development in Biotechnology.•Generating awareness about the applications of biotechnology.•To promote the development of industrial units of biotechnology, I was working on a project for Biotech Park establishment.•To provide quality education and encourage research in Biosciences and technology, an Institute of Life Sciences and Technology (ILST) was conceptualized.•Looked after all the governmental policy matter and their implementation i.e. Biotechnology Policy of Madhya Pradesh Government and also Industrial Promotion Policy (IPP)•Having exposure to duties in respect of infrastructure projects e.g. Preparation of DPR, RFQ, RFP, Bidding Process, SLEC approval and signing of Concession Agreement with private partner etc.•Developing new science-based research plan, monitoring of R&D projects, all documentation related to research projects.•Analyzing, summarizing and presenting results for all research projects to the higher authority.
