- Worked as an Engineering Officer in different capacities and rank, responsible for First Line & Second line maintenance of Jaguar aircraft. 16 years of experience in aircraft maintenance- Directed and successfully lead a team of 200 technicians of different specializations to carry out first line & second line maintenance of Jaguar aircraft in a premier combat aircraft base of IAF and ensured 11000 hours of accident free flying including deployment and operations from remote location.- Executed integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures in leadership role of in MRO planning and operations. Supervised 100 h, 200 h, 400h & 800 h servicing of Jaguar aircraft and aircraft systems.- Responsible for maintenance planning, preparation and optimum utilization of resources to execute the war plan. Conducted and coordinated war games to validate.- Planned second line maintenance and supply management of spares, aircraft specialist vehicles and other mechanical support equipment to achieve availability of aircraft's for flying operations. Streamlined workflow and laid lot of emphasis on quality of maintenance carried out and flight safety aspects.- Extensive experience in policy formulation for maintenance management of combat aircraft at front line operational squadrons of IAF. Lead a team of officer and technicians in formulating Technical Staff Instruction for Jaguar aircraft- Contributed significantly in shaping future human resource by imparting technical training to engineering graduates, technicians and pilots on Jaguar aircraft systems, aircraft Electrical & Instruments systems.

- Worked in the capacity of Joint Director in Project Management Team set up at Plans Branch (Air HQ) for procurement of avionics and subsequent integration of avionics under Su-30 MKI upgrade project costing of 1.8 billion USD. Subsequently also worked as Deputy Director in Project management of Jaguar avionics upgrade program.- Su-30 MKI upgrade project till date the most ambitious and most complex project ever taken up by IAF which included procurement of Russian aircraft and modernization of its avionics by integrating avionics equipment supplied by western countries. - The task included Project Management of DPP based Defence Procurements involving understanding the requirements of Air force, drafting of technical specification, floating global RFP, evaluation of technical & financial bids, accord of Government Sanctions, conducting pre-bid meeting, financial bench-marking, Technical & Field Evaluation, Cost-negotiation, finalization of vendor, vetting and signing of contracts, monitoring deliveries of avionics as per the millstone’s specified, conduct of acceptance test at vendor site & import/export of avionics. , and post contract management till Project conclusion.- Was responsible for planning and proposing road map for the projects, coordinator between the aircraft designer and the suppliers of avionics equipment, coordinating design review meetings and project review meetings, supervising the project’s team functioning, preparing communication plan and related project status reports, monitoring project progress, identifying deviations and suggesting remedial actions, monitoring import and export of avionics to Russia for integration on the aircraft.Gained experience in directing and managing aircraft upgrade programs and integration of avionics systems on aircraft. 
