About Jitendra Prasad

My journey into the world of IT began in the late 1990s during my High School years, fuelled by a genuine passion for technology. Although I initially pursued a degree in accounting, my growing interest in the tech realm prompted a change in direction. I made the decision to switch my major to computer science, embarking on a path that has been both rewarding and fulfilling. Starting my career with various technical roles in tech start-ups and a non-technical position at a newly established BPO, my experiences laid the foundation for my subsequent roles. I transitioned into a technical role as an IT Officer within the retail industry, navigating from a supermarket to a beverage and packaging firm.Over the years, I've held diverse positions with different ICT Managed Service Providers (MSPs) in Fiji, including roles as a Systems Administrator, Solutions Consultant, Sales Engineer, and ICT Support Engineer. Following almost a decade in the Managed Service Provider (MSP) arena, I welcomed a fresh challenge by taking on the role of IT Manager for a resort in Samoa. During my dedicated tenure of 2 years and 3 months, I expanded my knowledge and expertise, particularly in areas such as Networked Conference AV, IP-based BGM, and a diverse range of ICT tasks and activities. These responsibilities, varying from simple to complex, encompassed major systems design, integration, and implementation, addressing aspects such as personnel, hardware, software, budgetary considerations, and support facilities/equipment.Now, I am thrilled to be returning to one of the leading ICT Solutions & Service providers in the South Pacific. Renowned for its expansive clientele in the large enterprise sector, including Banking and non-banking financial institutions, governments, telcos, and major private sector enterprises in Fiji and the Pacific, I look forward to contributing to the continued success and growth of myself and the organization. I bring with me a wealth of experience and a continued enthusiasm for contributing to the dynamic field of information technology.A central focus of my personal and professional pursuits revolves around ongoing development. This commitment has translated into accumulating several years of robust expertise in efficiently managing, coordinating, implementing, and designing a spectrum of IT infrastructures, ranging from simple to intricate, with end-to-end solutions.
