Responsibilities included planning subsurface exploration for the foundations and roadways design, analyzing data to evaluate soil characteristics, settlement issue, and designing appropriate foundation solutions for the infrastructures. Performed settlement analyses and designed mitigation measures to prevent excessive settlement of foundation. Performed unreinforced and geosynthetic-reinforced pavement design for the roadways.
