Prepares process-based audit plan and program in line with the company’s governance, risk management and control processes.Conducts the entrance conference with clients at the beginning of each audit. Plans and conducts internal audits of various department functions including operational and financial audits. Executes audits in accordance with accepted Internal Auditing standards.Reviews internal policies and procedures to ensure they are written clearly, comprehensively, provide sufficient internal controls, and are in compliance with laws and regulations applicable to the company.Identifies key control points and weaknesses in the system or function being audited. Develops innovative and creative recommendations for correcting unsatisfactory conditions, improving operations, and reducing cost. Expresses opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the system or function under review, and presents findings to concerned managers. Coordinates and conducts exit audit conferences with auditees.Follows up on audit recommendations to assure implementation of promised corrective action.Provides monthly progress reports and compares audits performed to previously submitted and approved annual schedule.Monitors the day-to-day progress on work assigned, stopping unwarranted work and assigning follow-up work, when necessary.

•Verifying and reviewing the books of accounts prepared and ensuring accuracy and compliance with statutory requirements.•Validating and Ensuring Financial Data Integrity and Accuracy of Information provided in the Management Reports.•Reconciling the Company’s relevant Books of Accounts every month end. It includes the authority to pass the appropriate accounting entries adhering to Accounting Standards.•Finalising accounts and reporting to Management.•Assisting in formulation of work to maximise efficiency and reducing cost.•Ensuring all necessary records for external audit is prepared well on time.•Making sure internal controls are in order.
