I have been working in both the private and public IT sectors for 20 years, initially as a hands-on developer and subsequently more focused upon detailed analytical and major project management - where I feel my real strength lies. My professional career began in London (UK) working for an industry leading legal publishing firm within their integral IT department. This role enabled me to gain valuable experience optimising processes and workflows across interdependent departments and teams. I subsequently chose to move into an external consultancy role for a large environmental public sector organisation, also UK based, where I focused on GIS mapping, analysis of internal processes and data flow procedures. These were fascinating high-profile projects that introduced me to an entirely new working environment and challenges which I feel I thrived in.The broad project experience and interpersonal skills developed over the years have ensured a holistic appreciation and understanding of the many challenges, technical and other, associated with delivering successful and practical solutions for challenging projects. I genuinely enjoy working with like minded people and motivating other team members to reach those same goals. I feel that I have reached a point in both my personal life and professional career whereby I have the experience and skills to successfully navigate the diverse range of challenges that complex projects often involve.Finally, I was very happy to secure a senior project manager role within MONET+ which is a genuinely technically progressive Czech company. Over the past years I have really enjoyed and benefited from working closely with the development teams (both in-house and client side) to successfully deliver solutions for a prestigious international client involved within the retail sales sector. Additionally I was involved with the management of a payment gateway solution that involved the transition to use of the Scrum methodology, which was also a great journey. But mainly I am proud to say that based on my past track record I was able to become a key part of a fantastic team and my role is to manage the delivery of electronic payment solutions in the transport and mobility sector, which so far has been both - very challenging but also greatly rewarding.
