About Jon Itokazu

I have a M.S. in engineering and my passion for continuous learning and improvement of technologies has led me to pursue a PhD in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii - Manoa (UH). I am currently working as a graduate research assistant researching microwave biomedical applications while also designing analog circuits part time. I have industrial experience as an electrical design engineer (discrete electronics), systems design engineer (avionics), transmission and distribution engineer (utility), as well as research experience in power electronics, electromagnetics, RF/microwave/mmWave design, and advanced topics in physics. Interests: electromagnetics, optics, RF/microwave/mmWave, ASIC and Electronics design, Sensors, Systems design.
