With over 15 years of experience Estimation & Proposals of Skid Packages, Piping ,Static equipment’s like pressure vessels, Heat Exchangers, Columns, Reactors, API tanks, Silos, Stacks & Process Packages GDU,PWT, Filtration & EPC projects.My role involves a comprehensive set of responsibilities related to the bid estimation and proposal Here's a summary of the key tasks:Document Review : Thoroughly review Instructions to Bidders (ITB) documents, analyzing and assessing all requirements for Oil and gas projects for various end users like ADNOC, ARAMCO, SABIC, PDO, and KOC etc.Internal Collaboration: Liaise with internal departments (Design, Projects, Production, and Quality Control-HODs) to ensure that inputs are compliant with specification requirements.Estimation Management: Allocate estimation requests to the team, prioritize actions, and monitor to meet client deadlines. Update bid submission schedules.Procurement Coordination: Collaborate with the Procurement Group, material suppliers, and subcontractors for accurate and timely receipt of quotations. Compare subcontractor quotes, select based on price and delivery.Manpower Estimation: Estimate the man-hours required for various process equipment, skids, and piping.Bid Progress Monitoring: Monitor bid progress and communicate concerns to the proposal manager/management before Bid Clarification Meetings (BCD)Technical Clarification and Proposal Preparation: Prepare Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE) sheets and arrange technical clarification meetings. Prepare techno-commercial proposals according to client requirements and present them to management for approval.Post-Bid Stage: Arrange kick-off meetings with the execution team after order receipt, highlighting contract clarifications agreed during the bid stage. Prepare budgets and ensure materials procured are within budget constraints.Cost Control and Vendor Management: Control material costs by selecting new vendors and obtaining deviations from the client when possible.Contract Interpretation and Additional Claims: Provide supporting services for the interpretation of contracts/specs after contract award and preparation of additional claims.
