With over 15 years of experience in information technology, I am a solutions-oriented and technology-savvy professional who can design, develop, and support web-based information management systems. As the Director of IT at the Canadian Olympic Committee, I provide a strategic technical vision and leadership to help the organization reach its operational goals and fulfill its mission of supporting Canadian athletes and sports. I bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicate effectively the necessary technological concepts, constraints, and methodologies, and manage competing priorities and demanding operational needs. I have a strong background in C# and JavaScript, and I have developed and maintained multiple web applications and systems for the Canadian Olympic Committee, such as the Athlete Management System, the Event Registration System, and the Olympic Data Portal. I have also led and supported several IT initiatives and projects, such as the migration to cloud services, the integration of third-party applications, and the development of new features and functionalities. I am passionate about leveraging technology to create innovative and user-friendly solutions that can empower and inspire Canadian athletes and sports organizations.
