As a peer support volunteer I converse with students on campus and act as an immediate support. Peer support volunteers are trained by SCARF- Schizophrenia Research Foundation. A PSV in no means is a mental health professional- we are just trained volunteers to provide support and cater to any immediate issues a students faces.

I am working at the Centre for Writing and Pedagogy at Krea University as a conversation partner to help students feel comfortable communicating in english language at university level. I conduct weekly sessions using different activities taught during my training for the position.
