I worked closely with electrical, thermal, structural and avionics teams to coordinate complex integration schedules alongside the project management team.

This study explores how stem cells exposed to cosmic radiation exhibit accelerated cancerous progression compared to earth, which opens the door to rapid treatment development in the future.• Lead engineer on payload studying bubble dynamics on nanopatterned surfaces in microgravity, in collaboration with University of Notre Dame (my background photo was captured aboard the ISS in June 2021 by a camera I designed). Redesigned existing imaging system to improve video quality and frame rate. Managed customer requirements and expectations, maintained project timeline, and performed full system build-up and validation.• Designed mechanical bracket which eliminated 75+ (over 50%) components from company standard microfluidic assembly.• Integrated microfluidic systems with hundreds of individual components in biosafety cabinet with record of no contamination.• Experience with PCB assembly, troubleshooting, and repair. Knowledge of electronic components, ability to interpret schematics, and experience with electronic systems validation.• Full CubeLab buildup, all-systems testing and validation.• High level of proficiency soldering and reflow soldering.• Harness construction and wire routing management for space-constrained CubeLab payloads. • Experience with design and buildup of optical systems used to remotely capture images and video.

• Lead engineer developing a Hall-effect sensor prototype to retrofit bucket transformers for active current monitoring in collaboration with Prolec GE.• Maintained open communication with Prolec GE by presenting rolling results and outlining immediate goals.• Planned and executed experiments to test Hall-effect sensors in harsh environments similar to those found in bucket transformers.• Managed XLab team responsible for taking Prolec GE’s proposal from definition to prototype stage. • Reflow soldered PCBs and completed all prototype wiring. • Presented prototype and experimental results to Prolec GE R&D team.• Research findings accepted to IEEE Sensors 2020.

These solutions informed and improved the numerical models that were used in the design of these mirrors. • Utilized Solid Edge 8 to design a flexure system to more accurately test the mechanical constraints of eutectic gallium indium.
