I am consistently receiving submissions of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction, and I provide feedback for the junior editors. In addition to my specific and general commentaries, I give a recommendation on whether to accept or reject the piece.

As a selected Young Ambassador, I participated in mentoring and leadership development opportunities through exposure to “real world” diplomacy, access to decision-makers, and a platform to share my ideas and initiatives to promote women’s inclusion and empowerment in Kuwait and beyond.

I am involved in the selection process of speakers and mentors. I arrange fundraisers and activities that contribute to the Tedx event, such as weekly meetings, feedback during practices, and event decoration.

I edited speeches, shared comments on performance, and helped create a supportive ambiance.

In Arabic, I spoke about how unexpected opportunities can arise from disruption in the context of the year's theme: "Disruption."

Translated newspaper articles and statements used in lawsuits from Arabic to Korean to prepare litigation materials advocated by APIL.

Through the training, as the founding President of Girl Up Kuwait, I learned how to serve as an advocate on women’s issues, including women’s participation in civic and public life. Through this series, I learned the different phases of the advocacy cycle, starting with the planning, implementation, and evaluation phases in the context of the challenges and opportunities presented by the local context of Kuwait.
