I worked across 15 hospitals collecting cultures and data for research involving Clostridium difficile. I was responsible for collecting environmental cultures from numerous areas in the facilities and ensure data is passed to the appropriate personnel at the facility. I was one of the liaise between Infectious Disease Departments and Environmental Service Teams (EVS) for each hospital. I would conduct various interventions with EVS teams and promote sanitizing techniques that should be implemented. I would also observe that proper isolation precautions are being used where they are required. Also, contribute to general lab organization and conformity by maintaining detailed lab records. Most importantly attending, participating, and contributing to weekly laboratory meetings and literature discussions.

Second in command of 133 person, three sections, maintenance company. Supply and command maintenance officer responsible for the sustainment of a $11 million property book and 38 vehicles. Responsible for supporting each of the six battalions within the entire brigade. Liaison to external units for support requirements. Responsible for the professional and personal development, welfare, and training of all personnel.

I was the Platoon Leader in charge of 53 personnel who designed and implemented a new training schedule for the entire Medical Company that specified duties for each military occupational specialty. I supervised training activities of the Soldiers within my ambulatory platoon and planned several movement operations that allowed troops to execute training within units facility. I performed duties that required interpersonal and technical skills in addition to assisting in examinations and treatment of patients.
