GIS Program Manager for the King County Department of Transportation's Road Services Division. The backbone of the Roads Division's Asset Management framework is the GIS data. My team has undertaken large data migration projects to move legacy business systems and data into an Enterprise GIS database. We utilize Cityworks software for Asset Management by consuming our GIS data. Data maintenance and quality control are integral to daily operations. I manage internal GIS applications that support hundreds of users. I am a member of the King County GIS Technical Advisory Committee.

GIS Specialist for NOAA in the Gulf Coast area supporting the efforts of the Deepwater Horizon BP Oil Spill. I worked in a Command Post environment under the Incident Command System (ICS) during the most concerted efforts of the BP Oil Spill Response. I became well-versed in ICS procedures and gained valuable Emergency Response experience. My main responsibility was to work with the NOAA Corps Engineers to map overflight observations of the oil spill on the Gulf waters each day.
