My role as the Senior Manager, End User Computing Solutions at L3Harris was to:• Lead a team of geographically dispersed desktop support technicians that provided a complete and comprehensive, Tier 2, and Tier 3, Enterprise Desktop Support Services solution for L3Harris organization, programs, SCIFS, and end-users. That encompassed the desktop infrastructure environment, which included desktop computing, hardware devices, and associated key system software.• Directly oversaw and provided IT leadership insight to ensure that the End User Computing Solutions Support staff provide a quality level of service to the L3Harris divisional end-users.• Led and managed the Enterprise Desktop Support Services organization and directly interfaced with all the Senior Leadership Team, Managers, and Client IT departments, within the L3Harris organization.• Managed the general documentation of processes, procedures, guidelines, relating to the management of site-wide L3Harris Enterprise Desktop Services support.• Interfaced and coordinated directly with the Tier 1 National L3Harris Service Help Desk, to provide Tier 2, and Tier 3, Enterprise Desk-side support, Incident, and Problem Management Services.• Managed the entire incident/problem life cycle including detection, escalation, diagnosis, status reporting, repair, and recovery of assets.• The Enterprise Desktop Support Services team was responsible for the full life-cycle support of the L3Harris division’s end user computing environment and delivers personalized Tier 2, and Tier 3, Desktop Support Services that ensured business continuity and end user up-time.• The dedicated on-site End User Computing Solutions Support Services Teams, provisioned, dispatched, and managed, the Tier 2, and Tier 3, Desktop Support Services for L3Harris. Which included emergency response, on-site troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of incidents and problems for desktops, laptops, VDI, tablets, peripherals, and applications.
